Siemens will be one of the first companies to offer standard-compliant WiMAX radio networks, including end devices, to fixed and mobile network operators.
Using the PRO/Wireless 5116 Chip, based on the IEEE 802.16-2004 standard, the Siemens SkyMAX solution will be ready for commercial deployment in the second half of 2005.
